  • Benefits of of a short walk after a meal.

  • I absolutely LOVE this yoga routine because it is beneficial whether you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for many years. I reach to this one when I want to slow down, connect to my breath and my body. It can help you slow down and connect with what is going on inside your body and your mind when you are feeling depressed, anxious, lonely or sad. I also love how she ends with these words: ALLOW, RELEASE, LET GO.

  • Breathing is a magical resource that we have in our bodies. However, we tend to take it for granted because our bodies breathe themselves. Try this calm breathing exercise to learn how breath can be a resource to you.

  • Becoming more connected to the present moment often starts in our bodies. Tara Brach developed the acronym, RAIN to guide one through a process of Recognizing feelings,Allowing the feeling to be there,Investigating the feeling with interest and care, and Nurturing the feeling with Self Compassion.This is a beautiful place to start to learn the practices of mindfulness and self compassion.

  • Learn to meditate without having to quiet your thoughts. The most simple and accessible form of meditation I have found! Try it out and let me know what you think! (P.S. Like many of my resources, this could be in all four content areas as meditation benefits our entire being).

  • Spend an hour with Tara Mohr on any subject that draws you in and you will NOT regret it. I promise.

  • This podcast episode with Conan + Michelle is medicine for the soul because it will make you and laugh and cry, all in a short time span. I love how vulnerable Michelle is about her own imposter syndrome, or more specifically, her Ordinary Loneliness. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
